Return & Refund Policy

Important: All sales are final.

Due to the perishable and handmade nature of our food products, we operate a strict no return, no refund policy. Please read this page carefully before placing your order.

1. No Returns Policy

All products sold by KK Inti Ruchulu are non-returnable. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot accept returns for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Incorrect order placed by the customer
  • Taste or flavor preferences (our products follow traditional Andhra recipes and spice levels may differ from personal preferences)
  • Delay in consumption after delivery leading to spoilage
  • Gifted items that the recipient does not want
  • Products where the packaging has been opened or tampered with by the customer

2. No Refunds Policy

We do not offer refunds — partial or full — on any completed order. This applies to all products across all categories (Veg Pachadis, Karam Podulu, Non-Veg Pachadis, and Sweets & Snacks).

By placing an order (whether via WhatsApp, phone, or our website), you acknowledge and accept that no refund will be issued after the order is confirmed and payment is received.

3. Why We Have This Policy

We understand this policy may seem strict, and we want to be transparent about why it exists:

  • Perishable goods: Our products are handmade food items with limited shelf life. Once shipped, we cannot verify the storage conditions or guarantee product integrity upon return.
  • Hygiene and food safety: Indian food safety regulations (FSSAI) and international food safety standards prohibit the resale of returned food products. We cannot accept back any food item that has left our facility.
  • Handmade in small batches: Each order is handcrafted specifically for you. Returned items cannot be restocked or resold.

4. Exceptions: Damaged or Wrong Items

While we do not accept returns or issue refunds, we take full responsibility for errors on our end. If you receive:

Damaged during shipping

If your order arrives with visibly damaged, broken, or leaking packaging due to mishandling during transit, you must:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photographs of the damaged packaging and products (outer packaging, inner packaging, and the affected items)
  • Share the delivery receipt or tracking confirmation

After verification, we will offer a one-time replacement of the damaged items at no additional cost. Replacements are subject to product availability and will be shipped within 5-7 business days.

Wrong items received

If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered (wrong product, wrong variant, or wrong quantity), you must:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide photographs of the items received along with your order confirmation

We will send the correct items at no additional cost. You are not required to return the wrong items — consider them a gift from us.

5. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order only before we confirm that preparation has begun. Once we send a "Your order is being prepared" confirmation via WhatsApp or email, the order cannot be cancelled.

  • Before preparation begins: Full cancellation is possible. If payment has been made, we will refund the amount via the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • After preparation begins: No cancellation or refund is possible, as ingredients have already been used and the product is being handcrafted for your order.
  • After dispatch: No cancellation is possible under any circumstances.

6. Quality Complaints

We take immense pride in the quality of our products. If you believe there is a genuine quality issue (e.g., unusual smell, visible mold at the time of delivery, foreign objects), please contact us immediately:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide detailed photographs and a description of the issue
  • Do not discard the product — we may request you to retain it for verification

We will investigate each complaint on a case-by-case basis. If the complaint is found to be valid, we will send a replacement at no cost. We reserve the right to make the final determination on all quality complaints.

Note: Differences in spice levels, texture, color, or flavor between batches are natural characteristics of handmade food products and do not constitute a quality defect.

7. Non-Delivery / Lost in Transit

If your order is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but you have not received it, or if your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date
  • We will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier
  • If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will send a replacement at no additional cost
  • If the carrier confirms delivery (with photo or signature proof), we cannot be held responsible

8. International Orders

All international orders are subject to the same no-return, no-refund policy. Additionally:

  • Customs seizure: If your order is seized, held, or destroyed by customs authorities in the destination country, we are not responsible and no refund or replacement will be issued. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the products can be legally imported into their country.
  • Customs duties and taxes: Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer
  • Delivery delays at customs: Delays caused by customs processing do not qualify for replacement or refund

9. How to Report an Issue

For any issue covered under Sections 4, 6, or 7 above, contact us through:

Please include your order ID, photographs, and a description of the issue. Claims submitted without photographic evidence or after the specified time window will not be accepted.

10. Our Commitment

While our policy is strict, our commitment to quality is absolute. We handcraft every product with the finest ingredients, pack with care, and ship with trusted logistics partners. We stand behind the quality of everything that leaves our kitchen — and if something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right.

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on this page. The policy in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.
